Defect keyboard

I downloaded motorola phone tools 4.5 and installed it on a acer laptop with vista home basic & it worked fine. but the next time I started my laptop the keyboard and the mousepad didn't work! when i finally got it running (with a usb mouse) I found out that my audiocard wasn't working either!
does anyone have the same problems, or even better a solution???
